“In line with it’s goal of continuous improvement, Somta Tools is proud to announce that it has successfully improved its BBBEE status over the last 4 month period. As of 13 February we have been certified by AQ-Rate as a Level 6 company.
A contributing factor to this improvement has been Somta’s increased use of accredited suppliers, as well as the implementation of Zee Zee’s local carwash for all Somta employees, owned and run by Zinhle Xaba (a previous contract employee of Somta).
As a dominant cutting tool supplier to the South African market, we are committed to making further improvements in each of the B-BBEE measurements over the next 12 month period.”
